WASHING AND STEAM BLANCHING LINE FOR VEGETABLES

Previously used for Mushrooms but suitable for numerous other vegetable products. This system comprises of the following equipment:-

1 x All stainless steel Dutch TecSource continuous screw feed steam blancher (without steam generator ). S/n - 2011-0420. Model - BLANCHER. Date of manufacture - 2011.This unit is totally jacketed and can have a live steam injected into the product. Screw diameter is 500 mm. Total travelling length of 3300 mm. Product pitch is 220 mm. Currently has 3 travelling settings from 30 secs - 2 minutes. Because of the flotation characteristics of mushrooms, it is very important to keep them completely submerged during the blanching process. If this fails, the mushrooms will not be evenly blanched. The construction of this therefore has a special hatch construction so that the mushrooms do not get the chance to float. Also suitable for numerous other products. Cost new approx. £130k. 

1 x Dutch TecSource counterflow hydro cooler. All stainless steel. S/n - 2011-0422. Model - COUNTERFLOW COOLER. Date of manufacture - 2011. Screw diameter approx. 600 x 4000 mm long, complete with stainless steel gantry and walkway and recirculation pumps. Optimisation only possible as the coolant water is flowing in the opposite direction to the product. The screw flights are perforated all over, allowing the coolant water to flow through the screw flights in the opposite direction. Could be used as a flume washer. Jacketed with recirculating water system. Cost new approx. £130k.

1 x Dutch TecSource dewatering transfer conveyor. All stainless steel. Approx. 400 x 2800 mm. Cost new approx. £10k.

1 x All stainless steel flume wash feeder. Used for diverting product away from cooler and feeding to freezer. With recirculating pump system. Cost new approx. £20k.

1 x Ambit all stainless steel vibratory feeder. Complete with stainless steel holding tank. Vibratory bed size is approx. 600 x 1400 mm.

Complete with gantry / stands.
